The idea behind the name
Beyond the landmark.
I film with an Osmo Pocket 3 and begin where the itinerary loosens: on ordinary streets, in local routines, in the sound of a station or a café. Multiculturalism becomes real when we pay attention to how people live, not only to what a city is famous for.
Walking is also a therapeutic medium for me. Getting a little lost creates room for reflection, personal growth and the small details that are easy to miss when everything moves too fast.
WanderByJose chooses presence over a dopamine rush: conscious, vulnerable work that lets a place breathe and invites us to stay with the moment a little longer.
